Eat + Drink
Inase Sakaba
kanpai is equivalent to “cheers” in Japanese.
Besides for their cars and technology, the Japanese should be recognised for their bar culture. Anywhere in Japan, you can find izakaya (informal Japanese gastropub) or yakitori (bbq) bars. There you can get loaded on sake, eat heaps of cheap cheery food and ‘kanpai’ the night away. In Sydney, you can do all that at Inase Sakaba. Inase Sakaba has a mad selection of sake imported directly from the motherland, and while you’re kanpai-ing, tuck into some takoyaki and tuna steak.
Trading until late night.
